My picture is a resemblance of my backyard. The story I am trying to tell is the time my dog ran away. We live almost out of the city limits and my dog just loves to run away. We don’t know if he chases a cat or something but he just went all over that day. Just a note; this wasn’t the first time he ran away I had many problems! When I painted the first coat I got so mad because the lines of different colors smeared with each other. Then when I got to dot and I would put my hand down to hold the paper down and my hand what get little dots all over. One time I got it on my favorite sweater! And Emily’s two Shirts!
Over all I really like my painting. I think I could have done it a little bit neater but I still really like it. Some of the dots are smeared and I wish I had taken more time to dot. I wish that I had taken more time and slowed down with my dotting. I hope you enjoyed my painting! -Taylor Schultz
Why I picked this image is because I really liked it. When I found this image it was in black and white so I got to pick the colors for it. I am not real sure what this flower means. The lettering spells out Taylor, Artistic, and BFF. Some of you may wonder why I but BFF. It is because I wanted this to be dedicated to my friends. Now of course I had problems! The first thing that happened was carving. Every time I went in to carve a small detail, it would brake and ruin the design. The next thing was deciding the color for the flower. At first I had a really dark purple. But when it would dry it turned black so I decided to go with pink. Over all I am really impressed by it. If would have picked a thicker tray than I think it would probably b better looking. But I still really like what I did. If you were making this I would probably tell you to take your time and do it very neat and carefully. I hope you like my tablet!!! - Taylor Schultz
